Date changes

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel

When I copy a portion of a worksheet to a new worksheet, the dates change to new dates without any pattern -- ie -- Feb 6, 2007 changes to 11/6/11. Any help???

You've posted to the newsgroup for Word, not Excel, but your problem is that
one of the workbooks is using the 1000 Date System (prevalent on the PC)
while the other is using the 1904 Date System (prevalent on the Mac. See the
