I produce a booklet each year which is created by updating the previous
version. I print draft versions on my own printer, but send the final issue
to a commercial printer.
This year I noted for the first time that the current date in the format
dd-MMM-YY appeared in the even page footers (but not the odd numbered pages).
I assume that a date field has crept into my document, although I hafe not
intentionally included it, and it does not appear on the screen or when I
print drafts on my own printer. However, I find that if I create a pdf of
the booklet a similar date appears on the even pages - although not in the
same place as the commercially printed one.
I reaslie a simple likeley solution would be to cut and past the contents
into a new document, but I am curious to know if there is an explanation. I
am using Publisher 2000.
