Date Field Validation

A co-worker has date fields on a message form created in Outlook 2003 for
employees to enter hours. The date must be a Sunday, and it should not be
null. (Weekday( [Wk 1 Ending Date] ) =1) AND ([Wk 1 Ending Date] <>"")
don't seem to work. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

If you tested each validation expression separately, you'd find out that the first expression works fine and that the problem is with the second one. The field must be <> "None" not "". Not intuitive, given that it's a date field, is it?
