Date fields are disappearing

Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) Processor: Intel I am making a PPT template that has multiple slide masters - several content slides and several title slides. On one particular Title slide the date disappears on the actual slide even though it is on the master. ?? This same field works fine on all other title slides and content slides. ??

I have tried copy pasting from another title masters, which work fine, but it still wont show. If I copy paste on the actual slide (not the master slide) it will show up, but if I change the date in the 'Header Footer' menu it will update all date fields but this particular one will disappear.

Any suggestions?

Have you selected that Master & checked in the Header/Footer dialog to make
sure the box isn't checked for 'Don't show on title slide'?
