Date format in access query

Adem Bulut

Is date format a constant in access? (#MM/DD/YYYY HH:MM:SS#)
otherwise is it dependent on regional settins.

Note: I try regional settings. But my computer settings like #DD.MM.YYYY
HH:MM:SS# and access diclaim the dot(.) char in format.

Adem, it depends on the context.

In the context of the user interface (including text boxes on form and the
query design grid), Access uses the regional settings.

In the context of VBA and SQL statements, Access uses the American format so
that a line of code or a SQL statement prepared in one part of the world
works the same in any part.
