Date format in Userform

Hi

I have set up a user form with the following headings linked to bookmarks in
the document. DocumentTitle Label 1, DocumentREF Label 2, IssueDATE Label 3
and IssueSTATUS Label 4.

My question is that whatever format is inserted into the Label 3 on the
Userform that it automatically generates into the document as the format dd
MMMM YYYY, can this be done??

Also, I need all the above bookmarks (which appear on the front cover) to
also update throughout the whole document in the headers and footers, I have
tried REF fields but it does not work, I have also tried AutoUpdate macro and
it still does not work.

Any sugggestions would greatly be appreciated.

Thanks

Why not take away the option and potential for error altogether and provide
a calendar control to pick and format the date

It sounds as though you are entering the data AT the bookmarks rather then
IN them - see
http://gregmaxey.mvps.org/Inserting_Text_At_or_In_a_Bookmark.htm

Unless the text is contained in the bookmark, you cannot reproduce it with a
ref field.

You could instead assign the content to docvariables and use docvariable
fields to reproduce the content - see examples at
http://www.gmayor.com/SelectFile.htm
