Date format incorrect mail merge

E

Emily

I am using an excel 2003 file as my data source for my
word 2003 doc. Date format in excel is d/mm/yy.
Regional settings for date is also in short date format.
However, after mail merge the date format in the word doc
is mm/d/yy. I have office 2003 SP1. What shall I do to
make it to short date format?
