You will probably only have support for Western calendar type but you should
be able to get UK English in "language" which will give you the format you
want.

You may need to go to start > programs> MSoft Office > Office Tools>
language settings and add UK English

so happy and much grateful to your assistance, till I forgotten to request
for another clarification:

how come the "Calendar type" command is dimmed. What is the objective of the
present of the "Calendar type"..?

thanks again for the assistance render :)

Hi

Glad it helped.

You only get calendar options with some languages eg if you install Hebrew
you will get an option for Hebrew Lunar calendar,Bengali you get an option
for Hijri calendars. With many Western languages there's only the one option
hence no choice.
