Date Format

Version: 2008
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: intel

This seems like a ridiculously simple issue but I just can't seem to find the solution.

Can someone please tell me how to change the date format in PowerPoint from the American format (ie 12/15/08) to the one used elsewhere (ie 25/12/08)?

My computer is set with the international format, but Powerpoint only seems to give me the US version. There does not seem to be any options in the PowerPoint Preferences area nor is there anything listed in the Help file.

Cheers....Scotty

It's been a while since I meddled with this, I'm mostly a Windows/PPT guy, and I don't have
Mac PPT 2008... but ...

As I recall, one of the available date formats follows your OS-level custom date settings.
It's not at all apparent from the dialog box, but try picking some really odd settings at
the MacOS level and then have a look at the results as you try the different date format
choices in PPT.

Please let us know what you find out
