Date Formula

I am looking for the formula that will take a date, and
total the number of days by the current date. For
example, if I put a date of 30 days ago in one cell,
another cell will say that the date was 30 days ago, and
than the next day I open up and the cell will than say it
was 31 days ago

Elizabeth,

Isn't as simple as

=TODAY()-A1

and formatted as general

=TODAY()-A

Replace A1 for your date cell. Format as Number General. Excel will probably ayto-format the cell to a date style when you first enter the fomula

Good Luck

"Probably" is part of the problem with this aspect of XL. The word means
that you don't really know what it will do...
