Date Formulas

I've been asked to create a spreadsheet that calculates a
persons age.

I have two columns (Birthdate & Hire Date), and need a
formula to figure out a persons age in years and months
(another 2 columns).

The one catch is if the person is born before the 15th of
the month, then count that month. If they're born on the
15th or after, then don't count that month.

Any help would really be appreciated.

Thanks,

Teri

Thanks Steve,

I've tried the formula, but I only get a cell filled with
#########. Any suggestions?

Thanks again,

Teri

#'s usually mean thast the column is not wide enough to
show the result. First, make sure that your cell's format
is correct, then adjust the column width.

Teri,

You're welcome!

As Patrick has already pointed out - the #'s just mean that there are too
many characters in the cell. Format the cells to "number" with 0 decimals.
