Date getting changed in Copy Paste

I have a MS-Project file (file1) and I have received another smal
MS-Project file (file2) from a co-worker. file2 only has 1 task (with
sub-tasks). When I 'copy' this task from file2 and paste it in file
(on a blank line), the tasks and all the details get pasted well, excep
that the "Dates" (Start, Finish etc.) change. Can someone suggest wh
this might be happening

Hi,

When pasted, the tasks become new and probably revert to the project start
date. Another possibility is different calendars.
