Date Issues in Entourage eMail

Version: 2008
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard)
Processor: Intel
Email Client: imap

All of the mail I have received prior to Tuesday, 6 October is displayed as 1/5/09. This is also true of mail that I have moved off of the server and into mail folders and goes back for several years. When I open up the email the correct sending date and time are displayed in the email body itself. This is very irritating since I sort mail by date received.
Any help in fixing issue this are greatly appreciated.

All of the mail I have received prior to Tuesday, 6 October is

of the server and into mail folders and goes back for several years.

Try this:

First, quit Entourage.

Go to Apple menu --> System Preferences... --> Language & Text -->
Formats tab. If your Region is currently set to Custom then change it to
reflect your current region.

Launch Entourage and see if the problem remains.

Hope this helps!
