date messed up when forwarding a message?

Has anyone seen this before. If I send from my Mac (9.2.2) (Outlook
2001)(Exchange 2000). The date and time in the message is fine. If I
forward or reply to a message, the timestamp of the forwarded/replied
message is messed up. Has anyone seen this and more importantly, is there a
way to correct it?

From: Allen

Sent: Wednesday, May 05, 2004 4:32 PM

To: Steve

Subject: test

Forwarded message time stamp: Note the time sent!
From: Allen

Sent: WednesdayMon MayApr57,20042003 12:05 PM

To: Mark

Subject: RE: [Fwd: RE: E mail]
