How do I set the project startdate to the same as the earliest taskdate and
the enddate of the project to the same as the latest taskdate?

Hi M,

Set the Project start date OR end date in Project -> Project Information.
You may set one or the other not both. MS Project will calculate the date you
did not specify based upon your task schedule.

Hi M,

Sorry, didn't realize you were looking for the VBA answer. I have *very*
limited knowledge of VBA, but when I recorded the steps for setting the start
date, the resulting code was:

ProjectSummaryInfo Start:="1/10/05"
