The format for dates is set in Control Panel | Regional and Language
Settings (note -- this is based on Windows XP; if you're using a
different version of Windows, you may have a slightly different command
in your Control Panel folder for the Regional settings.)

Thank you very much for your time, I have already sorted this one out.

Now I wonder how I can change all my contacts in the contacts folder from
displaying "firstname lastname" instead of "lastname, firstname" as it is
now. I already know how to change them individually, but how can I do this
all in one sweep ? There is a fair amount of contacts, so I would like to
make it as easy as possible, and at the same time it is nice to know for
possible future use. I am pretty familiar with vb/vba and macro's, so if
this is the only way, it's a acceptable solution for me.
