Date parameters

I want to be able to enter a date and have it pull everthing 30 days in the
future... it is for expiry date warnings

Between [Enter Start Date] and DateAdd("d",30,[Enter Start Date])

I tried this and when I enter the start date the too complex box pops up
Is there something I missed or forgot to do, I entered the statement below
in the criteria box

Are you setting this criteria against a true date field? If so, you may need
to add the data type in the Query->Parameters:
[Enter Start Date] Date/Time

I cannot change data type as this is a linked table
Is there any other way?

Can you provide the SQL view?
Can you provide the actual data type?
Can you provide some sample values in the field?
Have you checked any help on how to convert a field to a date value?
