Date Pick Width auto sizing?

Hi champs

I am using infopath to create a customer report.

How can define an auto width for Date Picker to have it look "nice" in the
filled out form?

Form looks like this:

Report is covering <date_from> to <date_to>

After filling out the form it looks like this:
Report is convering 11.02.2005 to 18.02.2005

bevause the form field is just too big - as the date can be longer or
shorter I need the field "auto sized"
Possible?
How?

in the property of date picker you can choose width: auto for an
auto-sizing or you can make a print view and put the entry in an XPath
expression and specifie width: auto and that work!!

when I choose auto width the date picker gets expanded to the whole cell
Can you provide me with a custom code for that xpath thing?
How should it look like?

sorry - my mistake - fond the error -
I am using an expression box with aut witdh and this works pretty fine
