I have a table filled with different information such as
names, seniority etc, and the last column has dates in
it .
The date format is year.month.day e.g. 00.12.24,
00.09.16,02.06.19
When I sort the table by Name (as text), then by
seniority (as a number) and then by date (as a date) it
is able to sort by text, number, but when it comes to
date it will not get past sorting the year, and I have
the table sorted, using the above example, I will get the
result of 02.06.19 then 00.12.24 then 00.09.16 in that
order.
I have tried using the separate fields at "." in the Sort
options dialog box, but this does not seem to help. Is
this a Y2K hangover, or can Word not with dates in this
format?
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
