Date/time messes with title

I usually write Notes in portrait mode and have many pages with long titles.
I'm not sure what affects this behavior, but long titles sometimes run
through the date and time and other times don't. I like having the date-time
inserted automatically, but I find myself often having to adjust the page
header layout to get the title and date-time to play nice together.

Hmm, that shouldn't be. I just tried a quick test, and the title field
grew verticaly as the size of the title increased. It didn't overlap with
the date/time fields.

Do you have the latest SP and have you tried doing a Detect and Repair?
Does turning off the Task Pane help with this?
