Date to Unix time stamp?

I have dates that I need to convert to a Unix timestamp.

Ex:
Date: October 20, 2003
Unix time stamp: 1066460400

Unix timestamps are the number of seconds after 1/1/1970 00:00:00, so

A1: 10/20/2003
A2: =(A1-DATE(1970,1,1))*86400 ===> 1066608000


Note that your example would be incorrect:

B1: 1066460400
B2: =DATE(1970,1,1) + B1/86400 ===> 10/18/2003 07:00:00

not 10/20/2003
