Date Tool Is Not Functioning Once Website Uploaded

The date function is not working once I uploaded my website to the internet.
I have checked the box for the automatically update function ( The day's date
) and the date still does not change. It just shows the date the site was
uploaded. Has anyone else encountered this problem with Publisher 2003? If
so, what did you do to remedy this problem? Thank you for any assistance.

The "problem" is that you have misinterpreted the date update. It is working
correctly. It is not a dynamic web page date, but merely a publication date.
As stated on the FAQ - http://www.publishermvps.com/Default.aspx?tabid=30 -
Publisher has no dynamic web features. To accomplish what you are wanting
you would need to implement 3rd party JavaScript, you should find plenty of
them at http://wsabstract.com/
