I have a sequential array of dates, 365 cells per year.
How do I colour 'today' (A1 today, A2 tomorrow, A3 the day after, all automatic)?
I quit Excel every night, if that's an issue.

Just add a conditional format to all the cells. Select them all, then go to
format-conditional formating. Change cell value is to formula is, and for
the formula type =A1=today() assuming you start in A1. If not A!, enter the
cell of the first date. Then choose the formatting you want for today.

Thanks Bob, this didn't work at first but did the day after, and all days since.
Hardware problem no doubt (I first tried it at the end of a heavy day, lots else open).
