I have exported all my mail from OE6 (SP1) to Outlook XP (SP2).
While casually checking the e-mails between both applications, I
noticed that Outlook has set the "Received" time to be 1 hour less
than the "Received" time on the Outlook Express e-mails! Not all of
them are like that, only some. On one, the time is off by 1 hour 28
minutes! On another, the date is incorrect.
I have no idea why. I've tried an Import from Outlook and an Export
from OE - same results every time. So far as I can see, there isn't a
patch for this on Microsoft's download site. All the latest "service
packs" are installed. Anyone got any ideas?
I tried adding a "middle man" to the process, by Exporting the mail to
Eudora then Importing into Outlook XP - that failed. Eudora got all
the folders correct but there were no e-mails in any of the folders!
Thanks.
