Dates changing while importing a project

WHen i import a project to the enterprise, the dates are changing for some
tasks,

For eg.

In my .mpp file i have some tasks which are 1 day and they start on sat and
finish on sat itself.

Once i import it the duration remain at one day and even the start is one
sat but the finish is shifted to sun.

Can any one help me on this,

This typically indicates that a discrepancy between the calendars and
working times in the mpp file and the server.

As Gary has stated, this is typically caused by a discrepancy between the
options set in the Global Template and the desktop Project Pro.

The enterprise calendars override the MPP file. I'd suggest you create an
installation document for your PM's that tells them which options to set so
they synchronize to Project Server. Typically it is the calendar options:
start day of week, hours in a day, hours in a week, start time and end time.
Make sure they set as default in Project Pro BEFORE they create a plan. You
may also want to synchronize the attibutes for tasks (i.e. effort driven).
