datetimepicker issue on subform

I have DateTimePicker on the sub form and tab controls.

I just realized that DateTimePicker (Active Control) does not work on
the datasheet view of subform and tried to change to Continues view,
but it does not let me.

Are there any workaround for this?
Is the only solution to use unbound form or put controls on the form
to handle visible property using VBA code?

You might consider using one of the datetime pickers created by Access gurus
and forget about ActiveX.
On a datasheet you can have a double-click event to call the datepicker, no
prob.
