Daylight Savings Time

I see numerous questions on the DST settings...Both my outlook and windows
settings match and the DST boxes are checked, but Ive noticed my recurring
appointments have moved ahead an hour on the calendar. Any ideas on why thats
happening? Thanks!

I too have this problem. I isolated the source of the problem but cannot
figure out how to fix it:

The clock on my PC shows the correct time for daylight savings time (DST),
but Windows thinks that it is in fact displaying eastern standard time. The
checkbox in Date and Time Properties for DST **is** checked, so this should
not be happening. (I have unchecked and rechecked the box and have rebooted
my PC.)The result is that all my appointments in MS Outlook have been
incorrectly shifted forward 1 hour. How do I fix this?

I am using Windows XP Professional with SP2. I donwloaded the DST update
from <http://support.microsoft.com/gp/dst_hu2?systemlist=w18> and ran it. It
gave me a message saying that I had already updated my DST functions.

I'm having the same issue. I updated with recommended patches last year and
last Spring was fine, and last Fall was fine, and now appointments sent in
from the outside are an hour later than they are supposed to be. Internal
appointments seem okay, and outside appointments (from several sources) seem
conistently an hour wrong (late). Help appreciated.

I have run into the exact same problem. DST patches were installed last
spring, everything going great until a couple months ago. Now outside
companies that schedule meetings with my users show one hour ahead. Today,
now that DST is in effect, I had the same companies send me test single and
recurring appointments and the time is showing correct. I don't have an
answer for you - but you are not alone. I'll be watching this closely...have
you tried to run the outlook time zone update tool? I tried to run it on
these problem appointments last week and it did not show any of them as
needed correction.

I am having this issue with a random selection of my users. I tried
the TZMOVE.EXE tool. Please help

I too am having troubles with appointments at the incorrect time. On all 3 of
our computers I have checked the box to adjust for DST. I have also run the
update tool on the computers. Appointments appear ok from the users desktop.
When I go to view another personal calendar the appiontments are all 1 hour
later. And the appointments are 1 hour later on one of the person's
Blackberry.

All 3 computers have Outlook 2003, 2 are Windows 2000 and one is Windows XP.

It's possible the sender's system was not updated.
