DB Diagram Doesn't Display Table Relationships

I'm using Visio EA and reverse engineering a data model from SQL Server. I
step through the wizard and have Visio put the tables on the diagram.
Everthing works OK except it does not automatically create any relationships
between the tables.

The table PKs and FKs show up but no relationships. I was hoping it would do
this to save me time. I did a search and didn't find anyone else having this
problem. Does Visio EA automatically add the table relationships or is this
something that must be done manually?

TIA for any assistance.

Dianne -

The relationships should be represented when you drop the tables on the
page. If you happen to drop a table without it's related table(s), the
diagram should still create the relationship at the point you add the
related table(s) to the drawing page.

One way to request that the relationships be displayed for shapes already
on the page is to right-click on a table, and select "Show Related Tables"
from the shortcut menu. This will add the related tables, and then create
the relationship lines.

By the way - there is an option for the visibility of the Relationship
lines. Check under Database > Document > Options, and make sure that on
the Relationship tab there is a checkmark next to "Relationships" under
Show.
