DB Record location

perplexed

I have an application that does updating and reporting.
When the user selects his name, a subset of his records
are captured. My question is this: Do those records reside
on each PC or do they stay on the network drive?

I need more information to answer your question. Is it an Access Application?
Is it using link table? Is the access db on your own pc?...
