DBase 5 import trouble

I'm trying to import a DBase 5 table with an index. I get an error of "index
not found" Does anyone know where the .ndx file is stored or how to get
around the error?

Go to Visual Basic Editor and click tools=>references. See if a reference
is missing. If not, I would put DAO 3.6(if you have 2003) as a high
preference. If that doesn't work search for "Borland" file folder and rename
it "Borlandold"(the folder not the file). You don't need Borland for things
to run, so this will enable you to let DAO, which is probably the best DBase
reference. I would also try Dbase 4. Make a fresh database and see if that
works.
