Okay,
This has been going on for a while - off and on.. in diffferent databases
created by different people and on different machines. It appears to happen
mainly in Access2000, but could also be 2003 (not sure). All the dbases also
link up to oracle tables via odbc.
The dbase opens normally, but at some point while running a query it goes
completely CRAZY... the screen flickers and refreshes the dbase so fast you
can't click on anything. The only way to kill it is to use the task manager
- but even that takes awhile.
Other programs running on the same computer don't have the same screen
behavior while the dbase is going nuts. Today I had 2 doing it at the same
time while another dbase was fine. Usually though this is isolated to a
single dbase opened being used by a single user.
I've searched to best of my keyword ability, but can't find anything else on
it.
Any ideas if this is a corruption issue that can be solved by something??
It doesn't appear compact/repair does anything.
Help....
