I don't recall that any version of Word was able to open dBase files.
You can open dBase files in Excel, and then copy and paste to Word.

Every the previous version had the possibility of putting in the file of the
base of the data except Word 2007..
Is he possible so that this would by to be restored ?

Hi Jace,

Excel 2007 can open but no longer save in dBase III or IV format but support for dBase II has been dropped.

For Word 2007, you can still use dBase III or IV files as a data/mailmerge source. From The 'Mailings' tab, choose Select
Recipients=>Use Existing List then locate your dbase .dbf file.
