DBRW Source Change

I have FP2002 Web with Access DB.

I need to create a database interface with a table - sounds simple but the
table has 2 ID fields, one of which is the Primary Key and the other which
links to another table's ID. This creates a problem when I use the DBR
becasue it uses the first ID field to link to the database editor - I need it
to use the 2nd ID field but can't figure out how to modify this in the
Database Interface Pages. I fear moving the field positions in the table
structure becasue so many other "things" may be adversley affected.
QUESTION: is there a way to change the link field in the pages created by
the DBRW?

Antoher option for me would be to use the DBRW with a QUERY as the source (I
can remove the 2nd ID field from the query). However, the DBRW does not list
queries as a selection option - and I can't figure out how to correctly
update the DBR regions. QUESTION: is there a way to change the datasource
in the pages created by the DBRW?

Thanks for the response and suggestion - the DBRW does NOT give queries
(views) as an option to select - it only lists the tables in the database. I
thought I could change the selection to be a query AFTER the database
interface pages were all created but I haven't been able to successfully do
this. Any other suggestions?

Thanks again for your assistance. I do not have a custom query and, to my
knowledge, there has never been the option to choose a view/query as the DBIW
datasource. At least not for any of the webs I've creataed. There is no
option to choose a query nor is there an option to create a custom query as
the data source either - just a drop down that lists tables in the db.

Any other suggestions? I'm at a loss here - THANKS!

What might prevent the DBRW from displaying queries/views as an option for
the data source?

If you created the query in your Access database and then reimported the
database, you may need to verify your database connection to get FrontPage
to recognize that the query is now in the database. Go to Tools | Web
Settings | Database click once on the connection and click the Verify
button, and click OK.
