dd/mm/yyy date format

I have created a spreadsheet that shows certain dates in the past and future
dictated by inputting one date and is formatted using dd/mm/yyyy. My
colleagues in India are trying to use the sheet too but when using it some of
the fields (not all of them) change to mm/dd/yyyy format. I need to find a
way of formatting it so that they all stay dd/mm/yyyy to avoid confusion -
can anyone help?

Huge thanks in advance

if your colleagues using xp then tell them to set date format by
start---settings----control pannel------regional options-----regional and
language options then customize short date format to dd-mm-yy

if they are using earliar versions then set date format by
start---settings----control pannel------regional options---date ----short
date format to dd-mm-yy

If you want to avoid confusing, try spelling the month with a format like:

mmmm dd, yyyy
or
dd mmm yyyy
