DDE Connection

I'm trying to merge a document that I have previously used
and I'm getting the following error:
(Word could not re-establish a DDE Connection to Microsoft
Excell to complete the current task.)

What do I need to do to resolve this problem?

Which version of Word?

You might want to go to the Knowledge Base on microsoft
website and perform a search on the terms:

mail merge DDE connection
