DDE Connection

For some reason or another, I can no longer merge my excel
document to my Microsoft Word Form Letter. Every time I
try to merge the document, I receive the error message
that a DDE Connection cannot be re-established. I have
tried to go through the steps of inserting a database and
checking the Select Method then choosing via Excel DDE
connection and still cannot get it to work. Any
suggestions?

Hi Barb,

First check in Excel under Tools/Options/General and make sure "Ignore
other applications" is not selected.
