Up until last week, my dde merging has worked great. Then I bougt a new
machine and downloaded all XP Pro and Office 2003 updates to both the new and
old machines. Now, my templates don't retain the connection to Excel. I
need to reestablish the connection each time I use the templates. My W2k
machine isn't having this problem, nor is my home XP Pro machine (which also
has all the current updates). Since the data I'm merging is fairly complex
(contracts, wills, etc), I've found Excel using dde the easist to work with
for data entry and editing. Any ideas? Am I missing a setting in the 2
offcie XPPro machines?
