Hello ... I would like to link a table in access to Word to do a mail
merge. I can do it successfully on my home computer using Access 2003, but
have a problem doing the same thing on my computer at the Office which also
uses Access 2003.
I highlight a table, click Tools, office links, merge it with Microsoft
office word, create a new document and link data to it.
At home I can then set up a doc for mail merge and do the mail merge, at
the office I get a message something like (can't remember the exact message)
"Waiting for access ? dde" and it goes into never never land.
Is the "dde" an option during the Access installation process?
Any help on this would be much appreciated.
