Deactivate Junk E-Mail

J

Jochen Köcher

Hi there,

while setting up an e-mail archive I require a MAPI profile to access the
journaling mailboxes on the exchange servers. Outlook 2003 SP2 with lates
patches is installed. Since the copy of Outlook on the archiving server
should not evaluate the messages, I need to deactivate the junk e-mail option.

Under Tools -> Options -> Junk E-mail... I choose "No Automatic Filtering".
There are no safe senders or recipients or Blocked Senders definded. But
still, the Junk E-mail fills up continuously.

Any help would be appreciated.

Kind regards,
Jochen.

If you turn off Cached Exchange mode, the client-side junk filter does not operate. Any filtering in that scenario would be done server-side.
