Deactivate Office from old to new computer

How do I deactivate Office from my old computer to my new laptop? Is it
necessary for me to deactivate one for the other, or is there a way to use
them on both computers?

If you have a retail version of Office (most SKUs), you can use it on one
desktop and one laptop, assumed not to be used simultaneously. If you have
an OEM version of Office, it's licensed only for the computer it came
installed on. If you have a retail version you want to move from one laptop
to another, you can probably perform a second install without problems; if
necessary, use the phone activation option and explain that you've
uninstalled from a previous computer.
