Deactivating a project

I have a project that is suspended. I keep getting various reminders for
the project because no work is being done and PS thinks
various tasks are past due. I dont want to change the reminders because
they affect all projects and I want to keep them for my
active projects.

How do I tell Project Server that a project is no longer active? I know how
to delete a project, but I want to keep the project around
for historical reasons, so I dont want to delete it altogether.

One option is to go to the "build team from enterprise" and switch the
active team members to proposed instead of commited

Publish All

The assignments are all removed from the PWA tasks

When the project is active again .... switch back to commited and publish all

The assignments will be refreshed in the my tasks

If the project is postponed but not cancelled, you can reschedule
uncompleted work to a future date when work will resume. Refer to the
following FAQ for the steps needed to do this:
