Deactivating Microsoft Office 2003 Retail edition licence

Hi,
I have recently given my MS Office 2003 student and teacher edition (3
licences) to a friend as I no longer require the product, I un-installed the
product from my computer. He requires the 3 licences but i'm not sure how I
can untie the product from my computer. I understand that an OEM product is
tied to the hardware but this is a RETAIL Version.

As I say, I have removed the product from my computer, so I will not need
this licence. Can someone help me. Thanks

Regards,
Jon

Just transfer all the media, documentation and COA to your frind and
uninstall it from all your PC's. Thats it. There is no "deactivation"
process.

What do you mean transfer all the media, documentation and COA.

I have uninstalled it from my computer already and my friend now has it, he
has only installed on 1 PC so far but will be installing on 2 others this
weekend if its possible.

I presume you could consider the un-installation of the product as the
de-activation then which unties it from my computer and allows him the use of
3 licences?

basically give your friend all the stuff. You friend now has the rights
to all three installations.
