Deadlines in My Tasks PWA 2007

We use My Tasks for resources to get their work assignments. We would like
these resources to try to meet the scheduled finish date that is shown when
they are first assigned the task. The problem we are having is the finish
date changes when the person updates their task information with hours
different than planned or when they adjust the remaining hours. Is there any
way to display the original finish date (original deadline) along with the
adjusted finish date.

consider using Deadline Dates or using baselines for displaying this.
Normally resources will not see these in there My Tasks pages.

Thanks for the suggestion. Could be confusing to have to re-baseline
certain tasks at certain times throught the project so the resource has a
baseline value that was not from a old plan that has changed a bunch.

Also what determines if a field is editable when added to the My Tasks view?
We would want something that could not be changed by the resource.
