I have just converted from Corel to Word. Word Perfect
had a feature in Tabs called "decimal alignment
character". You could input the character you wanted to
act like the decimal. Eg. When entering a column of
numbers (some negative and some positive) all numbers
would line up. Negative numbers written like (15,995) -
with brackets instead of minus sign.
(15,995)
15,995
Ideally, the numbers should line up. In Corel you could
insert the decimal alignment character as ")" so that all
numbers would line up before the closing bracket.
Can anyone tell me how this is done in Word?
