Decimal Place Format!

Hi

I am trying to merge data into fields in Word 2002 from
Access 2002.
The data format in the Access 2002 is displayed as shown
here:

Freq
0.009 MHz

However if I merge this using the Word 2002 View data the
data displayed is shown here:

Freq
8.9999999999-E3

Is there anyway of displaying the latter as shown in the
Former i.e., 0.009

Any help would be most appreciated

Thanks

Nick

In the mailmerge main documnet, select the mergefield and use Shift+F9 to
toggle on the field code, then add the following formatting switch inside
the closing }

\# "0.000"

Alternatively, create a query in Access as use the Format() function on that
field to force the formatting that you want.
