In Excel 2003, if the Decimal Places setting in Tools>Options>Edit is set to
2 places and you enter say 125. in a cell this comes out at 1.25 instead of
125.00 - it seems to be necessary to enter 125.0 for the figure to come out
as 125.00
In previous versions of Excel, it was only necessary to put in a decimal
point after a number to make it appear as a whole number.
Is there a way to change this in 2003 so it behaves like the older version?
