Decimal points & dollar signs

Cindy

In WordPerfect, I was able to change the number format in
cells to currency and automatically have 2 digits after
the decimal point and a dollar sign. I have been unable
to find any instructions on how to do this in Word and it
is used quite often in my day to day work. If anyone
knows how to do this, I would really appreciate the help.
Thanks.

If you insert and Excel spreadsheet into the document, rather than use a
Word table, you will have at your disposal all of the cell formatting
capability of Excel. Other than when you are actually working in that
"table" it will be indistinguishable from a Word table.
