Decompile

well, I have problems with in english and computers..
this might be a stupid question.
I'm trying to decompile my application. I read an article
and it says "Create a shortcut with the
following '"C:\Program Files\Microsoft
Office\Office\MSACCESS.EXE"
d:\1access\voluntr\brier\vol_app.mdb/decompile' without
the single quotes.

Ok, I know I have to change the path to mine apps path. I
know creating a shortcut (right button mouse click) but
but I don't know what exactly the author meant by "Create
a shortcut with the following.." I try rewritting the
target with C:\Program Files... plus my database path but
I don't get nothing but error windows.
How should I decompile?

There's supposed to be a blank between the database name and /decompile:
might that be causing a problem?

As well, if the path to your database contains blanks, you need quotes
around it

"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office\MSACCESS.EXE" "d:\My
Documents\voluntr\brier\vol_app.mdb" /decompile

No, this is an excellent question. Being a good technical writer is
*not* one of my strengths. <smile> I've updated that page to be
somewhat more clear. I hope.

Thanks for asking.
