I have recently come across the /decompile command-line
switch for Access 2000. It has a dramatic effect on the
size of my mdb file, reducing it from 12MByte to
3.5MByte. Great.
However when I run the new mdb file a bug creeps in. I
have an Err 6 (Overflow) bug that was not there before.
(Or at least was not evident before.)
So what does /decompile do exactly? It seems very
useful, but is clearly slightly dangerous. Is that why
Microsoft do not seem to document it anywhere?
