Decreasing Amounts by Percent

Hi,

I am attempting to decrease amounts in a workbook for a company by 5% and
running into a snag.

Can I select multiple cells that have amounts in them, then decrease the
amounts and if so how?

Thank you in advance for any help or suggestions.

a formula such as cell * .95 is one way. Can you reword question if incorrect answer
